How to share files and folders in Google Drive

To share files and folders in Google Drive, follow these steps:

  1. Go to drive.google.com and sign in to your Google account.
  2. Locate the file or folder you want to share.
  3. Right-click on the file or folder and select “Share” from the context menu.
  4. In the “Share with others” window, enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the file or folder with within the “To” field.
  5. Choose the level of access you want to grant to the people you are sharing with. You can give them “Can edit” or “Can view” access.
  6. Optionally, you can add a message to the recipients in the “Add a message” field.
  7. Click “Send” to send the sharing invitation to the recipients.

Once you have shared a file or folder, the recipients will receive an email notification with a link to the file or folder. They can then click on the link to access the shared file or folder.

Note: To stop sharing a file or folder, right-click on it and select “Remove access” from the context menu. This will remove the sharing invitation, and the file or folder will no longer be accessible to the recipients.
